In light of the Governor’s decision to loosen certain restrictions that were outlined in Executive Order #108 regarding the usage of parks, the Franklin Township Office of Emergency Management announces amendments to the usage of certain Township Recreational Facilities.

Effective immediately, tennis courts within all municipal parks will be open for use with the following restrictions:

• Courts may be used for singles play only, no doubles
• Courts may only be used for tennis, no pickle-ball
• All previously outlined social distancing guidelines must be followed
• There shall be no congregation in or around the courts while waiting for a court to become available

The restrictions on the use of fields and other contact sports remain in effect at this time. We would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding while we work as one community to safely open our Township recreational facilities.
