A day I've been waiting for for a long time came not with a bang but snuck by us with a whimper. Yesterday, we didn't get a report from the county on our case numbers. We didn't know what that meant. I called last night, after hours, to find out. In the confusion, I was told we had 2 new infections and no deaths. We now have learned yesterday, for the first time since March 20th, Franklin had 0 new cases and 0 deaths reported!!
This is wonderful news. We are winning. Please remember the fight is not over. Please continue social distancing. We are almost through the first wave. Let's not let our relief get the better of us.
One small caveat. We often don't hear of deaths for up to 2-3 weeks.
