I haven't posted Franklin doubling time and Rt (or R7 as I call it because iI use a 7 day average) in a while because when you are talking about small populations (70K) small fluctuations can cause wide variations in calculated numbers. There has been a trend lately in both FT and in NJ.

FT doubling times is around 800 days. That's the highest (best) it's ever been. The R7 (reproduction rate) is 0.35 (very good). It hasn't been that low since early June.

I calculate Rt for NJ (the same thing as R7) as about .73 and the State says it's about 0.85. This is much better than it has been for weeks.

rt.live has NJ RT at 0.92 and NY at 0.93 again it's been since June since it's that good.

If you don't understand the Tech stuff, the bottom line is the numbers are moving in the right direction.

Please don't let down your guard. New Zealand went 102 days without a documented case of community spread and now has a new cluster.

We are going in the right direction. There will be ups and downs but we will get there.
