Donations

Money - If you want to donate money, I'd suggest the Franklin Foodbank They need money more than the municipality. If you want to donate in the name of first responders, they would appreciate it.

Masks - Due to the tremendous outpouring of support we are doing ok with masks. Bound Brook has a problem so please send some their way. If you want to drop it with us for them we can arrange it. Yes, I'm the Mayor of Franklin but when there's a need I recognize it. If you need a Franklin excuse, there's a lot of traffic between FT and BB. Helping them helps us. The 70K of us could help the 10K of them a lot.

Hospital gowns - Those paper like gowns nurses/docs wear in an infected patient's room are in short supply in long term care facilities. A mask can be worn for some time but a gown needs to be changed when you go from room to room so they go quickly. If you have access to hospital gowns, let me know at mayor.kramer@franklinnj.gov. We can get them to the LTC facility. This can save lives both of the patients and the care givers.

Canned food - Canned food goes to the food bank but, the dollar you send to the food bank, the food bank can turn into two dollars so they like money over goods.

Fresh food - Pizza's and such for our first responders like the police. They appreciate it but they way they look at it, they have jobs. Donate the money for the pizza to the food bank.

Any other donation question should go to me at mayor.kramer@franklinnj.gov
