A 92 year old who passed away on 4/9

We have gotten more specificity on why the Twp's count of the number of total cases for Franklin differs from the county cases on their map.

If an infected person who lives in Franklin moves to a care facility out of Franklin then the county does not include them in the total number. We do.

Long Term Care Facilities (LTCF) Telephone Conference (Governor’s office/ Commissioner of Health)

We are all concerned about our neighbors in our LTCF. I was on a telephone conference with the Commissioner of Health this afternoon.

First case in NJ anywhere was on March 4th. On April 14th there are 4059 new cases and a total number of cases of 68824. The total number of deaths is 2805. Of those 538 are in LTCF.

Of the 575 LTCFs, 342 have at least 1 case.

The LTCF have 5945 positives which is 10% of the LTC facility population.

The state is diligently working to stem the tide with regulations, PPE and monitoring.
